Dataprise, Inc., (http://www.dataprise.com) a Rockville, Maryland-based leading information technology services provider that solves the technology challenges of small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), is pleased to announce it is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

“When it comes to building a business, my philosophy has always been to grow it smarter rather than bigger,” said David Eisner, president and CEO. “Our clients are small- and medium-sized businesses who demand access to the same cutting edge solutions and technologies used by large businesses to streamline operations and compete more effectively. I’m proud that Dataprise has been satisfying that demand for 15 years.”

The company began as a one-man operation in Eisner’s apartment, and has grown into a thriving business with more than 100 employees. The firm has successfully evolved with the marketplace, but it never forgot a promise established at its inception – to let organizations manage their businesses while Dataprise manages their IT infrastructures.

One key to the firm’s success is its ground-breaking approach to providing IT services through its Signature® Network Support plans.  By focusing on the people, technology and process of each client, Dataprise custom-tailors solutions to fit any budget and IT challenge.  The company calls this FantasTECH™ customer service, where fantastic technology meets fantastic service.

Throughout its history, Dataprise has been critically acclaimed and has won numerous awards including being named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 and SmartCEO Future 50. The firm is also listed on the 2009 Inc. 5000 list and was ranked number three in The Gazette of Politics and Business’ 2009 list of the 53 top businesses and organizations in Maryland.

Most recently, Dataprise was recognized as one of the 50 “Great Places to Work” in Washingtonian magazine’s biennial “2009 Great Places to Work” award issue. The firm was featured in the ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ category

Additional regional awards have included being ranked number 17 in The Washington Business Journal‘s 2009 list of the top small technology companies in the Washington, D.C. metro area and on The Washington Business Journal‘s list of “Best Places to Work” in Greater Washington for 2007 and 2008 in the medium-sized business category. In 2009, Dataprise was also named Tech Service Company of the Year by the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council.  In recognition of Mr. Eisner’s leadership, he was named an Ernst & Young 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year in the “Realizing Business Potential” category.

Eisner said “I’m looking forward to what the next 15 years will bring”.
