Dataprise founder and CEO, David E. Eisner, was recognized Wednesday night with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 Channel Futures MSP 501 awards ceremony in Philadelphia. This is Channel Futures’ first Lifetime Achievement Award for the MSP 501 list, the premier list of Managed Service Providers (MSPs) worldwide.

The Channel Futures Lifetime Achievement Award honors an executive who has demonstrated commitment, perseverance, creativity, and ingenuity over the span of their career. The Channel Futures committee selected Eisner after reviewing hundreds of candidates. Eisner was presented the award in front of an audience of over 100 worldwide MSPs. David Eisner Lifetime Achievement Award

“Dataprise represents the best of MSPs,” stated Channel Futures Senior Content Director T.C. Doyle. “They’re a successful business, they’re good to their employees and they’re good to their community. All that translates into better customer service and superior delivery in the marketplace. There’s no way a company that stays hungry, humble, and hardworking cannot succeed, and Dataprise embodies that. David is the one at the helm who brings all those qualities to life and that’s why he rose to the top of our selection. It was very clear from the onset he is a quality individual who needed to be recognized and highlighted. Among top-tier executives, he stood out as the very best in show.”

In 1995, Eisner founded Dataprise, a leading technology managed service provider, from just a tiny start-up. Under his leadership, Dataprise has become a recognized industry leader supporting thousands of small-and-medium-sized businesses across the nation. Recently, for the ninth consecutive year, Dataprise was ranked as a Top 50 Managed Service Provider (MSP) according to Channel Futures 11th-annual MSP 501 Worldwide Company rankings. This follows recent recognition by ComputerWorld as a Best Place to Work in IT and MSP Partner of the Year for the Americas by Sophos. Eisner has also led the company to year-after-year significant revenue growth, earning Dataprise 12-time honoree status on the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies list.

“Everyone knows how important the MSP 501 list has become to the MSP community,” stated David Eisner. “We are an industry who has grown up alongside the technologies
that we manage and support. I am truly humbled and honored to be recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Award winner.”

An Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award® recipient with more than two decades of experience, Eisner has revolutionized the managed services space through the development of new approaches to IT management, most notably through Dataprise’s Support365® management plans. In addition to the Channel Futures Lifetime Achievement award, Eisner has been previously recognized as the Tech Council of Maryland’s Executive of the Year and has been named to the MSPmentor 250 Top People in Managed Services.
