Dataprise, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a contract to assist the United States Enrichment Corporation’s (USEC) information technology group with an enterprise-wide Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Active Directory upgrade. The project will be implemented over the Summer and Fall of 2002 and cover USEC’s 3 U.S. offices with over 3,100 users.

ABOUT USEC
USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU), a global energy company, is the world’s leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. Fiscal 2001 revenues totaled more than $1.1 billion.

Through its subsidiary, the United States Enrichment Corporation, USEC operates the only uranium enrichment facility in the United States: a gaseous diffusion plant in Paducah, Kentucky. USEC also operates sampling, transfer and shipping facilities near Portsmouth, Ohio. Company headquarters are located in Bethesda, Maryland.

In the early 1990s, USEC was created as a government corporation with the mission to restructure the government’s uranium enrichment operation and to prepare it for sale to the private sector. The privatization of USEC Inc. was completed on July 28, 1998.

As an investor-owned company, USEC Inc. continues a 30-year tradition of reliability—no customer’s delivery requirement has ever been missed, either in timeliness or in quantity.

USEC is also the U.S. government’s executive agent for the Megatons to Megawatts program, the historic U.S.-Russian nonproliferation agreement to dilute highly enriched uranium taken from dismantled Russian nuclear warheads into low-enriched uranium fuel used by USEC’s customers to generate electricity.
