Dataprise, Inc., a leading information technology (IT) services provider and systems integrator, announced today that it has been selected by National Industries for the Blind (http://www.nib.org) to manage and conduct a major systems upgrade from Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 to Exchange Server 2003 for approximately 125 users.

Located in Alexandria, VA., NIB was founded on the notion of Helping people help themselves. Following 1938 legislation signed by FDR, NIB was incorporated as a private, nonprofit corporation (501C3) “to promote the welfare of blind persons in general and blind workers in particular.”

National Industries for the Blind (NIB) enhances the opportunities for economic and personal independence of persons who are blind, primarily through creating, sustaining and improving employment. NIB operates under the Javits-Wagner-O’Day (JWOD) Act, a mandatory federal purchasing program, enabling people who are blind to work and provide products and services to federal and commercial customers.
