Dataprise, Inc., a leading information technology (IT) services provider and systems integrator, announced today that The Washington Business Journal has named the firm one of its 10 finalists in the annual “Best Places to Work” in Greater Washington for 2007. Dataprise is one of 10 finalists in the medium-sized business category, representing companies with between 51 and 150 employees.

“We are very proud to be named a finalist for this prestigious ranking,” said David Eisner, Dataprise’s president & CEO. “It is an honor to be recognized with the other great companies in this area, and demonstrates our commitment to providing a happy and fulfilling work environment for every Dataprise employee.”

A “Best Places to Work” dinner, at which winners will be announced, is scheduled for June 7th at the Tyson’s Corner Ritz-Carlton. The Washington Business Journal will profile the nominees and the event in a special supplement to their June 8 edition.

To be considered for “Washington’s Best Places to Work,” a company’s employee must first nominate his or her company. Upon nomination, an independent research firm distributes online surveys to the companies’ employees, and a certain percentage of employers must complete the survey for the results to be considered statistically significant – as a medium-sized company, Dataprise required at least a 70 percent response rate. The surveys ask objective questions regarding vacation, sick time, benefits, general work environment and other quality-of-life issues.
