Dataprise, Inc., a Rockville, Maryland-based leading information technology services provider that solves the technology challenges of small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), is pleased to announce that its President, CEO and founder, David Eisner, was named the 2010 Tech Council of Maryland’s (TCM) Executive of the Year.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized as the Tech Council of Maryland’s Executive of the Year,” said David Eisner, President, CEO and founder. “Dataprise couldn’t have been as successful as it is today without the dedication of the firm’s employees. An executive’s job is to motivate the staff to work hard and our employees work harder than anyone I know. Together we built an innovative business model that allows Dataprise to pioneer better and more efficient ways to deliver IT services to hundreds of Maryland businesses.”

For 22 years, TCM has recognized companies that have helped establish Maryland’s thriving technology community.  TCM’s Annual Tech Awards Celebration brings over 800 local leaders from technology, biotech, government and academia to honor the best and brightest of their peers, truly making it Maryland’s Best Night of Networking.

“This was a night to celebrate Maryland, its innovative businesses and entrepreneurs, and the achievements of our members during this past year,” said Renée M. Winsky, CEO of TCM. “I congratulate this year’s winners for their outstanding work and their dedication to helping make Maryland’s IT and Bio community the best in the nation.”

Dataprise has successfully evolved with the marketplace, but it still has not forgotten a promise established at its inception – to let organizations manage their businesses while Dataprise manages their IT infrastructures. One key to the firm’s success is its ground-breaking approach to providing IT services through its Signature® Network Support plans.  By focusing on the people, technology and process of each client, Dataprise custom-tailors solutions to fit any budget and IT challenge.  The company calls this FantasTECH™ customer service, where fantastic technology meets fantastic service.

Throughout its history, Dataprise has been critically acclaimed and has won numerous awards, including being recognized as one of the 50 “Great Places to Work” in Washingtonian magazine’s biennial “2009 Great Places to Work” award issue. The firm was named one of the 75 nationwide recipients of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Blue Ribbon DREAM BIG Small Business of the Year Award.  Most recently, Mr. Eisner was recognized as one of The Gazette of Politics and Business’ “25 CEOS You Need to Know.”
