Employees Praise Employee-Focused Environment; A Firm That Recognizes Outstanding Efforts
and Absolute Dedication

(Rockville, MD, October 24, 2011) – Dataprise, Inc., a leading IT managed services provider (MSP), has been named one of the 50 “Great Places to Work” in the Washington, D.C. area by Washingtonian magazine. The winners were chosen after a panel of editors and writers reviewed company submittals and more than 13,000 employee surveys. The final determinations relied heavily on the scores given by a company’s employees.

This is the seventh time Washingtonian magazine has chosen “Great Places to Work” in the Washington, D.C. area. The feature dates back to 1999 and is published every other year. The top 50 companies are awarded based on measures such as, generous pay and benefits, challenging and interesting work, great work/life balance, opportunities to learn and grow, financial stability, commitment to charity and community, and the recognition and respect given to employees. The winning workplaces are profiled in the November 2011 issue of Washingtonian magazine, which is now available on newsstands.

“Dataprise is truly honored to be recognized as one of Washington’s great places to work,” by Washingtonian magazine for the second time,” said David Eisner, President and CEO, Dataprise. “We try extremely hard to attract the most talented individuals because we believe that no business can truly thrive without employing and retaining the highest caliber of people. We have created a culture of open communication, teamwork, self-management and flexibility. These are just a few reasons why our company continues to grow year after year.”

Dataprise’s employees are encouraged to explore new boundaries and bring new ideas to the company and customers. They attack and meet these goals with a passion, dedicated to truly making a difference, not just in the workplace but also in their local communities.

“Dataprise strives to offer a vibrant and dynamic workplace and believes any achieved success is a testament to our employees’ drive and relentless determination,” said Scott Gordon, COO. “Dataprise strives to make the work environment fun, exciting, and not just a place to work, but a place where they come to make a difference and have fun while doing it.”

Dataprise ranked as a Top 10 winner in the Washingtonian article in three categories — “Top Staff Scores For I Love Coming To Work,” “Winners With the Best Scores For Flexibility,” and “Winners With the Highest Employee Scores for Good Coffee.” The article touts Dataprise’s belief in growing its employees emphasizing that “some 90 percent of the managers were promoted from within. Staffers also praise the fact that there has never been a layoff, salary freeze or cut in bonuses.”

Throughout its 16-year history, Dataprise’s services have been critically acclaimed. The firm has won numerous awards including the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 and SmartCEO Future 50. The firm is also listed on the 2011 Inc. 5000 list (its fifth time ranking) and was ranked number three in The Gazette of Politics and Business’ 2009 list of the 53 top businesses and organizations in Maryland. Mr. Eisner was named the 2010 Tech Council of Maryland’s (TCM) Executive of the Year.

In addition, Dataprise was included on The Washington Business Journal’s list of “The Best Places to Work” in Greater Washington for 2007, 2008 and 2011. The firm also was named one of the 75 nationwide recipients of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Blue Ribbon DREAM BIG Small Business of the Year Award and Mr. Eisner was recognized as one of The Gazette of Politics and Business’ “25 CEOS You Need to Know.”
