Dataprise Wins Best Places to work Dataprise, Inc., (http://www.dataprise.com) a Rockville-based information technology company, announced that The Washington Business Journal named the firm one of its 2013 “Best Places to Work in Greater Washington”. The award is designed to “honor the area’s leading employers that go beyond the norm to foster an enjoyable and meaningful work environment for their employees.”

“Dataprise is excited to be recognized for the fifth time in seven years as one of the Best Places to Work in Greater Washington,” said David Eisner, President and CEO, Dataprise. “We do our best to attract the most talented professionals and emphasize a culture that encourages our core values; teamwork, accountability, passion, and respect. Our employees are extremely dedicated, and this award recognizes that.”

To be considered for “Best Places to Work in Greater Washington,” a company must first be nominated by an employee. Upon nomination, an independent research firm distributes online surveys to all of a company’s employees regarding objective questions about vacation, sick time, benefits, general work environment and other quality-of-life issues. A large percentage of employees must complete the survey for the results to be considered statistically significant – as a medium-sized company, Dataprise required at least a 70 percent response rate.

Dataprise provides employees with attractive incentives to reward them for their hard work and dedication. Aside from monthly social events, employees are recognized with a company-wide employee of the month program, annual awards presented at the Winter Gala and Family Picnic, competitive compensation and benefits, a fully-stocked kitchen at Rockville headquarters, and much more. Dataprise’s mentorship and leadership programs support and guide employees through their career and invests in its employees by offering frequent training, certifications, tuition reimbursement, and other professional development opportunities.

The Best Places to Work awards event representing the excellent spirit and diverse characteristics of the many top companies across our region will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the National Zoo at 11:30am.
